In March 1994, Welcome Homes was formed to fill a void, fulfilling the needs of the absentee homeowner. All they needed was a quality management company that rented out their home for more than 20 weeks per year. Many promises had been made to homeowners, most of them through good salesmanship and less than adequate follow through.
For many years travelers have enjoyed the privacy and freedom that renting a family vacation home brings. The same vacation needed to be offered at an affordable rate. At this same time, homeowners bought second homes in the Kissimmee and Davenport areas, their favorite vacation destination. Some of them retired to Florida and others bought because of the perceived investment value.
The wholesale travel trade was waiting to work with a management company that understood the need for a quality product at reasonable rates. The business was there; all the company needed was the best Disney area vacation homes to fulfill the already existing client base. Our aim is to service the needs of both types of people, ensuring they all enjoy a level of service exceeded by none.

Developing the untapped markets of USA and Canada for retail reservations and slower season markets was a necessity, ensuring the homeowners year round rentals, enabling their home to be more self funding and the corporation to be profitable. This required and continues to require, considerable financial investment in advertising to the general public, in most cases educating them in the advantages of staying in a home instead of a hotel room. This approach was started at the inception of the company and took a year before the marketing started to pay off.
We are affiliated with some of the largest Tour Operators in the world and due to this; we are able to continually find new sources of bookings for those owners that want to purchase a vacation home in this area. As our markets are diversified, we are not dependent on one country.
Welcome Homes has Orlando vacation villas all close to Disney World. There is a four night minimum. Our rental homes sleep from two to twelve persons, ideal for sharing with two or more families. They all have the conveniences of your own home including your own private swimming pool (Condo’s have Community Pools). Many of the homes have Plasma Televisions or Large Screen TV’s, DVD, VCR and games consoles. Cable is standard as well as a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you are accustomed too. Relax at your Florida vacation villa after the Disney World Theme Parks by your own private swimming pool or take a break from Mickey Mouse and swim and play all day at your Orlando vacation villa. Orlando vacation villas are cleaned prior to arrival and an additional clean can be arranged during your vacation. High chairs and cribs can be provided in your Florida vacation villa.
